Mission

This organization's primary purpose was to further the common interest of its members and of the ocean liner carrier industry in fostering and serving foreign commerce with the approval of the Federal Maritime Commission. TSA performed record keeping and kept minutes on behalf of its members, who are engaged principally in the transportation of cargo.

This organization is a research and discussion forum of major ocean container shipping lines offering freight transportation between asia and the u.s. Tsa member carriers are authorized under the applicable shipping laws of the u.s. And asian governments.
