The truck safety coalition is dedicated to reducing the number of deaths and injuries caused by truck-related crashes, providing compassionate support to truck crash survivors and families of truck crash victims, and educating the public, policy-makers and media about truck safety issues.

OUTREACH AND EDUCATION: FIRST RESPONSE PROGRAM - THIS PROGRAM CONTACTS AND SUPPORTS TRUCK CRASH VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS IN THE UNITED STATES. THE SUPPORT INCLUDES INFORMATION, ACCESS TO A GRIEF COUNSELOR, VOLUNTEER NETWORK AND A WILLING EAR TO OFFER ENCOURAGEMENT, HOPE ANDUNDERSTANDING.PUBLIC EDUCATION - THE EDUCATION EFFORTS FOCUS ON INFORMING THE GENERAL PUBLIC, THE MEDIA, AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS ON THE CURRENT STATE OF TRUCK SAFETY AND HOW IT CAN BE IMPROVED.
