“The treasurer of the board acts as the designate for the governing board, and reviews the form 990 before it is filed with the irs. The completed form is provided to the board of directors and to members via the association's website.”

“By the end of january of each year, directors must complete the conflict of interest disclosure statement and lodge with the association. Directors who identify conflicts of interest subsequent to completing the disclosure statement shall immediately complete a new disclosure statement. Within a month of receiving any disclosure statement, the board of directors or its designee shall review and determine whether any conflict has occured, and the person with the conflict of interest is excluded from any action.”
