Line 4a open house ministries is a faith-based community organization helping homeless families, by providing shelter and intervention through christ- centered, life changing programs. The programs for 2023/24 included case management, education, job training and counseling. The programs included the following: program(s): spiritual 12 steps, expanded food and nutrition program (efnep) in partnership with wsu, financial peace university, conflict resolution, transforming grief and loss, clark college ged, study hall, love & logic, cultivating virtue, art of faith, children and youth sports and fitness camps in partnership with ymca, teach one lead one, change your story change your life, women's and men's groups. Job coaching: the job coaching program at ohm provides residents and, occasionally, clients from our community agency partner, partners in careers (pic), with individualized job-related training and development based on the needs, goals, and barriers of the individual. It is up to case management and leadership to refer certain residents for job coaching services, based on the unique barriers that each resident faces. The in-house job coach, along with the other ohm retail staff, help residents/clients by providing job- related support and working alongside them to build the skills necessary to attain and maintain long-term employment. Through our job coaching program at ohm, we provide real-life work experience for our residents in the areas of customer service, sales, merchandising, light janitorial, bike repair/maintenance, pick-up and delivery service, donations assisting, and reception. While working in our work center environments, people in our program work on soft skills like developing appropriate work habits, working well on a team, following directions, and meeting expectations, communicating effectively, and being a productive and efficient worker. Our job coach oversees the progress of individuals in meeting their objectives in the program and ensures that each individual has the resources and tools in place to transition into job searching and obtain employment. Some of those tools and resources include job searching strategies, resume writing, application process assistance, and interview techniques and coaching. Transitional housing program: case managers providing transitional support is a crucial piece of helping residents find success in a post-shelter situation. Our transitional housing program is one solution for helping residents find their way back to a normal, independent life. During the 2023/2024 year 15 families were supported at pinewood and 15 at fruit valley south, the off-campus location for families continuing to participate in the classes provided by open house ministries. Case management program: during the 2023/2024-year, three case managers provided the planning, processing, and monitoring to the 86 households living at open house during this time and our offsite properties. Childcare program: daycare - 51 summer chlildren's program - 31
