HAC coordinated the twelve public appearances for the Hayward Youth Poet Laureate. In 2023 a student-led "Teen Poetry Monthly Workshop" was launched in the Teen Room of the Hayward Public Library supporting 22 students in their creative writing efforts. In addition HAC provided awards to outstanding art students at four high schools Chabot Community College and California State University East Bay. HAC also awarded two scholarships in the performing arts Dance and Theatre Arts.
