Financial Statement Notes

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

The Corporation is exempt from income taxes under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code. The corporation is subject to tax on its unrelated business income for federal and state. Income taxes are provided for the tax effects of unrelated business income reported in the financial statements. There are no differences between amounts reported in the financial statements and amounts reported in the tax return; accordingly, there are no deferred taxes.Management believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken, and as such, does not have an uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements. The Corporation's federal and state tax returns are subject to examination by the IRS and FTB for three and four years, respectively after they were filed.
