It requires individuals to disclose to the chairman of the board of trustees and the ceo existence of any financial or competitive interest that may give rise to a conflict of interest. Additionally, the ceo will monitor proposed or ongoing transactions for potential conflict of interest and disclose them to the chairman of the board of trustees. A person who reports or is disclosed as having a conflict of interest may be required to be disqualified from participating in related discussion or decisions. This policy is discussed each year at a board of trustees meeting, where individuals with potential conflicts are encouraged to disclose any potential conflicts to the ceo and the chairman of the board of trustees.”
