“The form 990 is prepared by an independent public accounting firm with the assistance of the organizations finance and accounting staff. The treasurer and the executive director review the final draft of the 990. An electronic copy is sent to all board members before filing.”

“The organization regularly and consistently monitors and enforces compliance with its conflict of interest policy. For directors and officers, the executive directors office requests completion of an annual disclosure form by august 31 for all directors and officers. The executive director assures that all forms have been received and prepares a summary of disclosures and forwards the forms and summary to the board executive committee, which reviews the disclosures and makes a report to the board at its next quarterly meeting. The executive director also sends the summary to the external auditors and tax preparers for disclosure in the annual tax return.”
