“On January 1, 2009, the Organization adopted FIN48, which clarifies theaccounting for uncertainty in income taxes recognized in theOrganizations financial statements in accordance with SFAS 109, andprescribes a recognition threshold and measurement attribute for thefinancial statement recognition measurement of a tax position taken orexpected to be taken in a tax return. FIN 48 also provides guidance onrecognition and measurement of a tax return position taken or expectedto be taken in a tax return. The adoption of FIN 48 did not have amaterial effect on the Organization. The Organization files income taxreturns in the US federal jurisdiction, and the State of California. TheOrganizations federal income tax returns for tax year 2011 and beyondremind subject to examination by the Internal Revenue Service, and theOrganizations California income tax returns for the tax year 2011 andbeyond remain subject to examination by the California Franchise Tax Board. The Organization did not have unrecognized tax benefits as ofDecember 31, 2024, and does not expect to change significantly over thenext 12 months. In connection with the adoption of FIN 48, the Organization will recognize interest and penalties accrued or anyunrecognized tax benefits as a component of income tax expense. As ofDecember 31, 2024, the Organization has not accrued interest orpenalties related to uncertain tax positions.”

FIN 48 also provides guidance onrecognition and measurement of a tax return position taken or expectedto be taken in a tax return. The adoption of FIN 48 did not have amaterial effect on the Organization. The Organization files income taxreturns in the US federal jurisdiction, and the State of California. TheOrganizations federal income tax returns for tax year 2011 and beyondremind subject to examination by the Internal Revenue Service, and theOrganizations California income tax returns for the tax year 2011 andbeyond remain subject to examination by the California Franchise Tax Board. The Organization did not have unrecognized tax benefits as ofDecember 31, 2024, and does not expect to change significantly over thenext 12 months. In connection with the adoption of FIN 48, the Organization will recognize interest and penalties accrued or anyunrecognized tax benefits as a component of income tax expense. As ofDecember 31, 2024, the Organization has not accrued interest orpenalties related to uncertain tax positions. |
