Are to support, sustain, assist, and perpetuate the principal mission of the united states air force aerial demonstration squadron "thunderbirds" by: 1. Reinforcing public confidence in the united states air force. 2. Supporting air force community relations. 3. Promoting international cooperation and goodwill in support of the thunderbirds national objectives. 4. Supporting u.s. Air force recruitment and retention programs. 5. Promoting camaraderie of former and current members of the united states air force air demonstration squadron "thunderbirds"”

“Specific achievements in carrying out our exempt purpose include: 1. A quarterly newsletter of information and support to over 1,700 alumni members, usaf chain of command, honorary thunderbirds, and alumni friends and supporters. 2. Planning, management, and execution of the biennial reunion to afford communications, camaraderie, and air force promotion. 3. Charitable support of entertainment groups and organizations like the usaf academy falconaires, usaf honor guard, and usaf thunderbirds officers. 4. The alumni association has provided funds not available through us government sources for furniture, equipment, and program support of the thunderbird museum.”
