Supplemental Narrative

Additional Explanations

Form 990 - Part I, Line 18

Save experienced a loss of $136,201 for the year due to shortfall in its target for unrestricted foundation income. However, expenses included in this loss amount totaling $56,224 were related to use of temporarily restricted funds received in prior years. Save's balance sheet continues to maintain adequate amount of reserves.

FORM 990, PART XII, LINE 2C:

The board of directors assumes responsibility for oversight of the audit. This has not changed from the prior year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Save recognizes the financial statement benefit of an uncertain tax position only after considering the probability that a tax authority would sustain the position in an examination. For tax positions meeting a "more-likely-than-not" threshold, the amount recognized in the financial statements is the benefit expected to be realized upon settlement with the tax authority. For tax positions not meeting the threshold, no financial statement benefit is recognized. As of june 30, 2014, save has had no uncertain tax positions. The organization recognizes interest and penalties, if any, related to uncertain tax positions as income tax expense.

PART XI, LINE 2D - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

In-kind donations 176,482.

PART XI, LINE 4B - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

Loss on disposal of property and equipment -2,180.

PART XII, LINE 2D - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

IN-KIND EXPENSE 176,482.
