East bay integrated care, inc. Delegates management duties to simitree, an unrelated management company, including the cfo duties which are performed by rahel legesse. Rahel legesse received reportable compensation of $201,282 in 2024 from simitree for the services that she provided as the cfo of east bay integrated care, inc.

The administrative policies and procedures manual and the employee manual include a policy that prohibits directors and employees from involvement in any activity that would be considered a conflict of interest to the agency, its programs, or its patients. The policy includes guidelines and examples of prohibited conduct. Directors annually complete a conflict of interest form. Directors and staff are required to disclose as soon as possible, the existence of any actual or potential conflict of interest to human resources, or to the appropriate member of the senior leadership team. Conflicts of interest are also monitored through compliance line reports, unusual occurrence reports, complaint reports, and follow up investigations.

Market studies of comparable positions, annual reviews of compensation levels commensurate with job descriptions, review and approval by the human resources committee of the board. The ceo's salary is determined by the executive committee of the board. The committee obtains independent salary data (salary range)for the comparable positions in the market place. The committee also prepares a written evaluation of the ceo's performance against predetermined goals and objectives. Based on the ceo's performance during the year, the committee determines the annual adjustment for the coming year. Top management salaries are recommended by the ceo and approved by the human resources committee of the board. The organization's endowment (the endowment) consists of an individual fund, the bruns house, established by a donor to provide annual funding for the ongoing expenses at bruns house. The organization determined the net assets forming the bruns house fund is legally restricted as an endowment fund and should therefore be reported as net assets with donor restrictions.

The organization believes that has appropriate support for any tax positions taken affecting its annual filing requirements, and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements.
