Additional Explanations

FORM 990, PART XII, LINE 2C:

The organization did not change its oversight process or selection process during the tax year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART V, LINE 4:

Provide unrestricted funds to support operating costs or to fund pilot programs identified by the agency's board and staff leadership.

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization has applied for and received a determination letter from the internal revenue service (irs) to be treated as a tax-exempt entity pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and did not have any unrelated business income for the years ended september 30, 2023 and 2022. Due to its tax-exempt status, the organization is not subject to income taxes. The organization is required to file tax returns with the irs and other taxing authorities. Accordingly, these financial statements do not reflect a provision for income taxes and the organization has no other tax positions which must be considered for disclosure. Organization is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. Management believes it is no longer subject to income tax examinations for years prior to 2020.

PART XI, LINE 4B - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

PART XII, LINE 2D - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:
