Erica oakman is the wife of darryle oakman, executive director. She was hired by the board of directors and reports to both darryle and the board.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6

The membership of this association shall consist of owners of furnished and unfurnished rental dwelling units, commercial property, mobile homes and mobile home parks, hotels, motels and rooming houses, trust departments of any banks authorized to do business in california, and california licensed real estate brokers. Industry partner memberships in this association shall consist of firms, corporations, partnerships and individuals serving the rental property industry. Alumni membership shall consist of past owner members in good standing, who when they become ineligible for owner membership due to sale of qualifying rental property, choose to retain ties with association.

Each paid membership of the above will be entitled to one vote at elections, membership meetings or as elected members of the board of directors. An owner member may appoint a delegate, subject to approval in the same manner as membership rights as defined by a letter from the represented owner. Industry partner memberships and alumni memberships have a voice in the association, but not a vote.
