The board of directors reviews the irs form 990 that is filed on the organization's behalf before it is filed with the irs. The means of delivery shall be via email to each director's email address or hard copy if needed, at the board meeting. A board resolution is required in order for the form 990 to be filed.

Meals on wheels of solano county has a written conflict of interest policy which states that individuals are required to annually disclose interests that could give rise to conflicts. The board of directors annually reviews, monitors, and enforces compliance with the policy and employees are trained on the conflict of interest policy as stated in their employee handbook.
