“To provide local artists an opportunity to become a member of the sonoma arts guild based on artistic ability so that tey can build their artistic reputation and present their work to the public for sale in a retail gallery. Operation of the arts guild of sonoma retail gallery that is open to the public for the purpose of displaying for sale artwork of the member artists and for the benefits, enjoyment and entrichment of the local sommunity. Sponsor a high school art show, the nonfrofit plein aire foundatin provides us a grant and we also receive donations of mnaterials. The show is for the purpose of encouraging young artists and displaying their artwork to th public inour retail art gallery for the benefit, enjoyment and enrichment of the local community. To organize and present a juried art show for the benefit, enjoyment of the public for four weeks in our retail gallery and to offer for sale the displayed works.”
