The board of directors of the association consists of 8 members, four of whom are elected from district 1 and four from district 2. The directors are elected to two year terms. Members of each district may only vote for directors of that district. The annual election of directors is held at the annual meeting.

A copy of the federal form 990 along with the compiled financial statements are provided to the board president for review prior to the filing of form 990 with the irs. The other board members are given the opportunity to review the return and financial statements to clarify any questions they may have relating to financial matters of the previous year.
