“Prior period adjustment: for the year ended september 30, 2023, an incorrect adjustment was proposed by the prior auditor and recorded by the organization deferring 225,000 of a large contribution received from procter and gamble as future earned revenue instead of as an immediately recognized contribution. Additionally, it was noted that an incorrect lease agreement was used when calculating the right of use assets and liabilities. The organization corrected these errors in the current year, and the prior period adjustment shows the net effect on the statement of financial position and statement of activities for the year ended september 30, 2023.”
