“Members are nutrition education professionals who are dedicated to promoting effective nutrition education and communication to support and improve healthful behaviors. There are seven classes of members: professional member, retired member, student member, organizational member, professional assisted member, institutional member, and associate member.”

“All board members are required to sign an annual declaration of any conflicts of interest. Any conflicts brought to attention of the board are then reviewed on a case by case basis.”
