“In fy24, call to safety, with the support of the development department, was able to create significant changes in our internal structure to provide a more sustainable and joyful workplace. One of our central guiding values is that we are survivors supporting survivors - 92% of our staff and 86% of our board of directors identify as a someone who has experienced domestic or sexual violence, sex trafficking or stalking. We know that when our staff is supported they are better able to provide vital and life changing services to our callers and service participants. In the last year we raised the base wage for all direct service staff by 5 an hour - the most significant increase in call to safety's history. Direct service advocates are the people on the ground, answering our crisis line, providing follow up services, and just supporting survivors through impossible moments. Paying our staff, and ensuring our direct service staff have wages that are livable is helping prevent burnout and creating a better quality of life for our workers. We have also created 3 new director level positions in the last year including director of community outreach & education, director of operations, and director of case management. Creating these roles allowed for career development for staff who have been with the organization for a number of years, provided more support to all workers, and a more balanced workload for directors across departments. We started 2024 with 2 directors, and an executive director sitting at the top of the organizational structure, and today we are proud to say we have 5 director roles and an executive director position. We are proud of these big changes for our staff and are hopeful of continuing to see better retention rates. We believe when we support our staff well, our staff can provide the best possible services to survivors. Call to safety provided lifesaving services to survivors. In 2024 calendar year, we answered 26,940 phone calls, 62 text messages, and 172 chats with wait times less than a minute. We were able to distribute 129 hotel vouchers which resulted in 635 nights of safety for survivors.”

| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 0 | OUR PURPOSE IS TO EMPOWER THOSE WHO EXPERIENCE VIOLENCE AND ALSO TO END THE OPPRESSION AND VIOLENCE. WE PROVIDE CRISIS INTERVENTION, ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT, SAFETY PLANNING, EMERGENCY HOUSING RESOURCES, AGENCY AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT GROUPS. |
| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 1 | IN FY24, CALL TO SAFETY, WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, WAS ABLE TO CREATE SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN OUR INTERNAL STRUCTURE TO PROVIDE A MORE SUSTAINABLE AND JOYFUL WORKPLACE. WE WERE ABLE TO DISTRIBUTE 129 HOTEL VOUCHERS WHICH RESULTED IN 635 NIGHTS OF SAFETY FOR SURVIVORS. |
