THE CHAPTER PARTICIPATED IN MULTIPLE COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIRS, SPECIFICALLY PROVIDING INFORMATION ON KIDNEY HEALTH AND AIDS. THE CHAPTER ALSO HOSTED A "WALK FOR HEALTHY LIVING" EVENT TO ENCOURAGE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND IT'S ANNUAL "NATIONAL DONOR SABBATH" TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR ORGAN DONATION. Community health and wellness - the chapter actively promoted community health and well-being through various initiatives. The chapter participated in multiple community health fairs, specifically providing information on kidney health and aids. The chapter also hosted a "walk for healthy living" event to encourage physical activity and it's annual "national donor sabbath" to raise awareness for organ donation. A social media campaign was conducted to promote awareness for world aids day and a "black family wellness expo" was hosted to address broader health concerns in the community. Youth development and education - the chapter is comitted to fostering the growth and education of young people. Activities included donating books to support literacy and stem education and hosted a "stem exposed summit" to encourage students in science and technology. The chapter also supported historically black colleges and universities (hbcus) by participating in a "wa hbcu community trilogy" event and running "links love hbcu" social media and giving campaigns. Cicic engagement and social action - the chapter is dedicted to increasing civic participation and addressing social issues. The chapter executed a "voter registration confirmation campaign- and held "link up the vote" events, including tabling at community events and hosting information sessions. The chapter also used social media to encourage voting through campaigns like "vote your voice matters- and "find your ballot box and vote". Additionally, a social media campaign was conducted to raise awareness about human trafficking.
