There are seven types of membership classifications: realtor members, institute affiliate members, affiliate members, associate affiliate members, public service members, honorary members, and student members. Only realtor members have the right to vote and hold elective office in the association. In addition to being a member in the salem association of realtors, realtor members are given membership to the oregon and national association of realtors.
