“Convened these three working groups in 2024 - renewable energy and power, waste & reuse, reporting and metrics with guides to be released q4 2025 working groups bring together professionals from across the music ecosystem to turn shared sustainability goals into real-world progress. Each group focuses on a key area of impact such as energy, waste and circularity, merchandise, mobility, reporting, and manufacturing where collaboration drives measurable change. Members identify challenges, exchange best practices, and develop actionable solutions via reports and guides that can be scaled across tours, venues, festivals, and supply chains. Produced three green room webinars in 2024 - zero waste, environmental regulation and fan impact. The green room webinar series shines a light on a broad range of topics, people and perspectives at the intersection of sustainability and the music industry. These free, hour-long sessions are open to all and are recorded and archived for those unable to attend live. Music sustainability summit (mss) 2024 was our inaugural summit with 300 participants in attendance. The mss is the music sustainability alliance's annual gathering dedicated to learning, collaboration, and industry transformation. It brings together artists, executives, producers, and sustainability experts to share knowledge, showcase innovation, and build collective understanding of how the music industry can operate more sustainably.”
