Program Services

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
Moms Adopting Moms, Inc. provides peer mentorship, resource navigation, and stabilization support to biological parents working toward reunification with their children in foster care. Services include individualized mentoring by trained peer mentors with lived experience, assistance understanding and completing case plans, transportation support, emergency financial assistance, and ongoing encouragement designed to promote safe family reunification and long-term stability. During 2025, the organization received service requests from 59 additional mothers across five counties in Georgia and supported more than a dozen successful family reunifications, bringing total reunifications served in the past two years to 25 families. The organization expanded its Freedom Fund emergency assistance program and continued its Drive to Thrive transportation initiative, providing access to reliable vehicles at reduced cost to program participants to support employment, treatment participation, and court compliance. Moms Adopting Moms also coordinated community engagement and education efforts, including hosting university interns and service-learning teams from the University of Georgia and Athens Technical College to support program development, outreach, and family services. Seasonal support programs assisted 35 families during the holiday season with essential items including clothing, food, toys, and transportation assistance.$16,499$106,727
