“Return is reviewed by board.”

“It is the policy of wycen that the organization does not make decisions about who we partner with, or how we work with partners, based on or influenced by other partners. Wycen maintains independent relationships with each partner. When conflict or disagreement between two partners arises, wycen will remain a neutral party in that conflict or disagreement but may, if it makes sense, facilitate a conversation between those partners. Wycen is a network, not a coalition, and partners are not required to work with each other on any strategy or issue. Additionally, wycen does not participate in personnel decisions or board management for any partner organizations.”

“The process to seek and hire an executive director took place over the months of may-july 2025. The process involved the board, senior staff, and included the input of all employees. A job description and call for applicants were posted regionally. The first round of interviews were conducted over video calls with the board and staff. This resulted in two clear final candidates, both of whom were interviewed in person in laramie by the board and staff. The final decision was made by the board. Senior staff worked with the board to prepare the work offer and contract and the new director accepted.”

“Board members do not receive compensation. When and if another key employee were to be added, the board would work with the appropriate senior staff to determine the job description, recruitment strategy, interview period, and compensation.”
