Program Services

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
Youth Employment Initiatives: Transcendent Assistance operated its Youth Employment Initiatives in Houston Texas connecting young adults aged 18-25 facing housing instability with skill-based project work industry leaders and pathways to internships and jobs. The program offered comprehensive workforce training providing marketable skills and professional readiness. TAs network of employers and community partners offered direct placement opportunities resulting in 67% of participants securing internships or paid projects in the programs first year. By 2025 the program expanded its impact with 100% of active participants increasing their income. Many Young Achievers transitioned from internships to full-time employment through TAs personalized career coaching model.$0$250
Adulting 1:1 Pathway Community Infrastructure Development: Transcendent Assistance advanced development of its Adulting 1:1 Pathway a three-series life skills social-emotional and financial literacy curriculum designed for young adults transitioning out of housing instability. In the current fiscal year organizational efforts focused on building the community infrastructure necessary to pilot and deliver this programming at scale. TA secured formal partnerships with two faith-based organizations one in Humble Texas and one in Bakersfield California establishing dedicated programming space volunteer recruitment pipelines and collaborative program delivery frameworks. These partnerships provide stable community-rooted venues for the upcoming launch of the Adulting 1:1 series including the EmoSocial Mastery Adulting 1:1 Life Skills and Financial Foundations series each independently deliverable and grantable over seven-week cycles. Persons Benefited: Volunteer networks and prospective participants in 2 markets.$0$0
OWN IT Homeownership Pathway Program Development & Market Research: During the fiscal year Transcendent Assistance progressed the initial phase of OWN IT its unique homeownership initiative targeting young adults aged 18 to 25 experiencing housing instability. This group includes those unhoused aging out of foster care or facing imminent displacement. OWN IT is currently under development and has not yet enrolled participants. All efforts in the fiscal year were dedicated to program design feasibility analysis and market research to ensure a responsible and scalable launch. The program aims to fill a gap in housing and homeownership services in Transcendent Assistances primary service areas of Greater Houston and the Richmond Rosenberg region of Texas. Existing programs in these regions have mainly focused on emergency housing or short-term rental assistance lacking a structured approach to guide vulnerable young adults towards permanent homeownership. OWN IT will provide a structured pathway for participants referred to as Young Achievers to transition from rental housing to ownership. It addresses key barriers faced by low-income young adults in building housing wealth: insufficient income lack of credit history and challenges in accumulating down payment capital. The specific methodology guiding this pathway is proprietary and still in development. The programs core goal is to align housing stability workforce advancement and financial readiness in a tailored model for young adults exiting systems of care or instability. During the fiscal year Transcendent Assistance focused on targeted housing market research and feasibility analysis in its service area. This included evaluating land availability affordability acquisition pathways and development feasibility to pinpoint suitable locations and housing types for transitional rental housing and future homeownership opportunities for OWN IT participants. This research highlighted the significant unmet needs among the target population and the potential success of a development-focused strategy that integrates rental-to-ownership pathways. These initial investments provide the foundation and strategic direction necessary for Transcendent Assistance to move forward with the program launch secure funding and implement OWN IT as an innovative solution to youth homelessness housing instability and generational wealth exclusion. Persons Benefited: Program infrastructure research and development activities directly serve future OWN IT participants Young Achievers upon program launch.$0$0

| Explanation:| During the fiscal year Transcendent Assistance reported activities related to the development of OWN IT a proprietary homeownership pathway initiative. OWN IT is in the program development stage and has not yet enrolled participants. Accordingly reported activities reflect program design feasibility assessment and market research rather than direct service delivery. All expenditures and activities associated with OWN IT during the fiscal year were dedicated to establishing foundational program elements necessary for a future launch including analysis of housing market conditions assessment of affordability and development feasibility in the organizations primary service areas and refinement of the programs intended target population and outcomes. No individuals were served during the reporting period; references to Persons Benefited in Part III indicate future beneficiaries to be enrolled upon program launch.
