Grounded in the belief that It takes a Village and that Those closest to the problem have the solutions, RiA empowers residents to lead initiatives, advocate for grassroots movements, and take collective action to challenge the status quo. The organization strategically plans and implements resident-led strategies to elevate the community and create positive social change.

THE PROJECT COLLABORATES WITH LOCAL HOUSING AGENCIES AND NONPROFITS TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY HOUSING AND CONNECTS INDIVIDUALS WITH WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AND FINANCIAL COUNSELING SERVICES. PERSONS BENEFITED: THIS PROJECT SERVED 200 INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES EXPERIENCING OR AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS, OFFERING TAILORED SUPPORT SERVICES TO ENSURE LONG-TERM STABILITY. RELEVANT INFORMATION: THE PROJECT HAS CONTRIBUTED TO A 10% REDUCTION IN HOMELESSNESS AMONG CLIENTS IN THE COMMUNITY BY ADDRESSING ROOT CAUSES AND HELPING SECURE STABLE HOUSING FOR AT-RISK RESIDENTS.
