“The following is a breakdown of other significant expenses incurred in support of the mission of the senior pet sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the care and well-being of senior animals: Grooming, Toileting, and Cleaning: $2,086.15 was spent on grooming services, hygiene products, and cleaning supplies to maintain sanitary and comfortable living conditions for senior animals. Pet Food: $3,944.06 was used to purchase nutritious food appropriate for the dietary needs of elderly pets in care. Medications and Supplements: $7,799.63 was spent on prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as supplements necessary for the ongoing health and management of age-related conditions in senior animals. Pet Supplies: $1,513.06 covered the cost of toys, treats, collars, weather protection gear, and miscellaneous pet supplies to enhance the quality of life and enrichment of the sanctuary residents. In-Kind Veterinary Care: The organization received $1,312.62 in donated veterinary services, which provided essential medical care and wellness checks for the animals. Office Expenses: $2,655.08 was spent on general office supplies and administrative needs, excluding costs related to printing, postage, shipping, and website maintenance. Sanctuary Supplies and Facility Upgrades: $2,402.41 was spent on supplies, maintenance materials, and upgrades to the sanctuary environment, as well as expenses associated with volunteer workdays. Application Fees: $15.00 was paid to the Texas Secretary of State for official filings and regulatory compliance. Fundraising and Advertising: $2,715.38 was used for promotional materials, digital and print advertising, and events to raise funds and awareness for the sanctuary. Insurance: $310.00 was paid to maintain appropriate liability and operational insurance coverage for the organization. These expenses collectively support the sanctuary's mission to provide lifelong care, comfort, and dignity to senior animals in a safe and loving environment.”
