“Family empowerment services, inc. Prevention & education services are tailored to identify children & youth at-risk and provide intervention services prior to the onset of delinquent behaviors and/or mental health disorders. The goal is to prevent and/or reduce the risk of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral problems that would impair functioning (such as criminal activity, truancy, djj/dfcs involvement, hospitalization, suspension/expulsion, gang involvement, and drug use). Family empowerment services, inc. Mentorship program matches children and youth with a mentor (adult role model or recovering peer) from the community to provide guidance and one-on-one support and encouragement. Services are provided at a minimum of two times a month.”

Our individual and family therapists utilize a variety of creative, innovative, and age-appropriate interventions to support children and youth and their families in meeting their treatment goals. Individual therapists provide one-on-one counseling to identify and resolve cognitive, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Family therapists work to improve family relationships, communication skills, and family conflict in order to promote strong and healthy family units.”
