Our Great Ape Conservation Film Project is the first of its kind, long-term media project, utilizing the power of visual imagery and storytelling from a local perspective to drive positive conservation outcomes. The Project builds local capacity and employment while developing media-based solutions. The Project models on a OneHealth approach to content development. SCIENCE MEDIA EDUCATION Through its two online outreach education programs, Apes Like Us on You Tube and Talking Apes podcast, GLOBIO now reaches over 50,000 viewer/listener subscribers in over 130 countries, with science-based, authentic, storytelling education about who we are, how we came to be and our connection to the Hominid family. In over five years of outreach the two programs have reached over 4 million. In 2025 a dual-platform was adopted to expand global reach even further.”
