“The mission of soroptimist international of gresham foundation is to improve the community and the world by bettering the lives of women and girls through service.”

“We have established an endowment fund with mt hood community college to provide tuition for needy students. The income from the endowment funds scholarships for women. We give numerous educational grants for women and high school girls in the area. We also organize and sponsor the teddy bear parade each year, which is a major community event. We give monetary grants to local domestic violence organizations annually. In 2013-14, we launched, funded, and organized a local free the girls bra collection, supporting an anti-trafficking program which provides aid for women in developing nations.”
