All board members complete a conflict of interest questionnaire each year. The board has adopted a conflict of interest policy that is reviewed annually by the board and ceo. The question of conflict of interest is asked before any vote. If a conflict is present, the individual declines voting and it is recorded in meeting minutes.

Biannual surveys are done to collect information from similar organizations through the oregon primary care association, northwest regional primary care association, and other relevant wage and salary resources. The board of directors reviews wages and salaries each year as a function of its fiduciary responsibility to approve an annual operations budget.
