Mission

The philippine american chamber of commerce of oregon (pacco) is a welcoming and inclusive community organized to promote economic empowerment and resiliency for historically marginalized, economically disadvantaged, underserved and under-resourced communities. We ground our efforts in racial equity and promote entrepreneurism, education, professional growth, civic engagement, and business development by providing scholarships, leadership training programs, technical assistance, networking and relevant workshops.

To ease the burden of government by enhancing the economic well-being of the state of oregon by utilizing inherent ethnic ties in promoting trade, tourism, and other economic relations and activities between the state of oregon and the philippines; to promote goodwill and understanding between them. To undertake projects of a business or civic character, especially for enhancement of the filipino-oregonian image, prestige, and well-being in the community assisting in easing racial tension in the state thereby. To assist in the formation of women and minority-owned oregon industries, shops or trades in its area of jurisdiction. To cooperate with the pertinent agencies of the united states and the philippines in the pursuance of its goals. To act as the clearing house for oregon-philippines trade and economic relations, and to undertake a networking with local and philippine businesses and chamber of commerce statewide.
