“Florence arts, culture and entertainment (f.a.c.e.) primary purpose is supporting the florence events center (fec). Our mission statement describes our work and aspirations - to support florence's arts culture and entertainment. We accomplish this through a variety of ways. We support local nonprofit performing groups through usage grants towards rental fees so they can conduct fundraisers, advance their group, entertain the public and keep the fec facility in use. We also support capital improvements to the fec. Because our local schools lack suitable performance venues, we provide a path to public presentations for their music programs, drama clubs, talent shows, awards ceremonies and graduations. F.a.c.e. Raises money for these endeavors through its efforts of producing an annual winter music and fall book festivals; a community wide indoor yard sale along with providing access to local artists for an ever-changing art exhibit. All of these contribute to a greater awareness of the arts here in florence, and enhance valuable tourism to the city of florence, oregon.”
