DescriptionGrantsExpenses
TCII, operating as the Oregon Child Care Resource and Referral Network (the Network), provided leadership, coordination of services and quality training and technical assistance to the thirteen child care resource and referral (CCR&R) programs serving all thirty-six counties in Oregon. The Network promoted sustained funding by continuing to build relationships with key stakeholders. This was done by promoting enhanced approaches for providing training and technical assistance through the use of technology and the continual alignment to the state's emerging early learning system. The Network was a key player in the state-wide quality rating improvement system (QRIS) and played a critical role in advancing quality child care efforts throughout Oregon in collaboration with funders, early care and education agencies, The Early Learning Council and the Oregon education investment board.$140,769-
The Center for Intercultural Innovation (TCII) provided consultation, education, training and technical assistance to public and private agencies and institutions to help reduce disparities in access to educational opportunities for children, youth and families from Oregons underserved population. Services included organizational assessments, review of policies and procedures, staff development and direct training for teachers and practitioners. TCII developed resources, trainer of trainer venues with follow up coaching and peer to peer networking to ensure long-term sustainability of skills and competencies of agency staff to help reduce disparities by increasing equity and quality in policies, programs and practices.$117,813-
