“(a) the board of directors may establish an executive committee of the board. Unless the board of directors decide otherwise, the executive committee shall consist of the president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and immediate past president as well as one additional director chosen by the president, so long as they are simultaneously members of the board of directors. Other directors may serve on the executive committee if they are appointed by a majority vote of all the directors in office. The executive committee may only be composed of current board members. (b) the executive committee is delegated the power of the full board to make decisions for the corporation between board meetings, including financial, personnel and budgetary decisions. (c) the executive committee is authorized to approve payment of expense less than a limit set by the board. (d) the board may, by resolution, place limits on the extent of the authority and powers of the executive committee or impose procedural requirements such as notice to other board members of the agenda of the executive committee meetings. (e) the executive committee must comply with the provisions of the bylaws applicable to the full board for notice, quorum, voting and decision making, minutes and subsequent approval of the minutes. (f) all executive committee decisions must be recorded in official minutes, which must be submitted to the full board.”

Mission is accomplished through the performance of several (5 or 6) chamber orchestra programs during a season that runs from september to may. As well as smaller concerts, activities, education and outreach programs throughout the fiscal year.”
