Mission

Marylhurst University is a Catholic liberal arts university nationally recognized for its dedication to excellence in the education of self-directed adult learners seeking relevant, rigorous and innovative undergraduate and graduate programs. Students of all ages and walks of life come to Marylhurst to transform their lives in some way; here, they get very personalized attention to help them do just that. Through both on-campus and online programs, Marylhurst creates collaborative learning environments that value and challenge each individual, with a focus on clearly defined outcomes. Marylhurst excels in integrating professional programs and the liberal arts through curriculum that emphasizes interdisciplinary learning and prepares students to lead lives of ethical leadership, service and social responsibility.

The university closed as of december 31, 2018. The organziation satisfied its obligations and dissolved prior to june 30, 2021.
