Easter seals oregon provides exceptional services to ensure that children and adults with autism and other disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play in their communities.

Part i, line 5 and part v, line 2a, number of employees: the total number of individuals for which a w-2 was issued in 2012 was 312. This total consists of 119 easter seals oregon staff members and 193 scsep program participants receiving a w-2 in conjunction with the programmatic activities provided by easter seals oregon.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4A

The senior community service employment program is a job training and placement program that matches quality mature workers with employers who value what they have to offer. Seniors who are 55 and older are placed in a wide variety of community service activities at nonprofit and public facilities, including day care centers, senior centers, schools, and hospitals. This program serves people living in clackamas, multnomah, marion, and polk counties. Funding for this program is received through a grant awarded to easter seals national by the u. S. Department of labor. The latino connection program, funded through the state of oregon's department of vocational rehabilitation, is dedicated to creating employment opportunities for latino individuals with disabilities who use english as a second language and latino individuals with physical, psychological, or on-going medical conditions that interfere with their ability to work. Referrals come through partnerships with vocational rehabilitation counselors and local employers throughout portland, salem, woodburn, and the surrounding areas. The homeless veterans reintegration program grants, awarded by the u. S. Department of labor, provide services to assist homeless veterans reintegrate into the community and into meaningful employment. This service stimulates the service delivery systems that address the complex problems facing homeless veterans in jackson and josephine counties as well as marion and polk counties.

Recreation and respiteprograms offer children with special needs and their siblings a chance to experience age appropriate recreational activities while interacting with other children, and offer parents and guardians a much needed break from the constant demands of care giving. In addition, adult programs offered in medford include saturday night dance, active club, and aquatic exercise classes.

A DAY CAMP PROGRAM IS ALSO OFFERED IN MEDFORD.
