“Partnered with 30 local farmers to expand the boonville community harvest market, coordinated 10 volunteers and ran seasonal fundraisers. Hosted enviromental education booths and waste reduction outreach. Strengthened community access to fresh, local produce for roughly 200 community members weekly.”

“Village clean ups: organized 4 events across boonville with over 50 volunteers from community members, scout troops, and the local school. Together removed an average of 30 contractor bags of trash per cleanup. Fostered civic pride, enviromental stewardship, and community teamwork. Partnered with adirondack central schools' connected community schools to run 2 essay and art contests on environmental themes. Engaged students k- 12, promoting creativity and awareness of conservation. Awarded 6 winners with gift cards ranging from 25-50. Co-hosted the 2024 nysacc annual conference on the environment with the tug hill commission, drawing 500+ participants. Received two nysacc environmental excellence awards: community action & engagement (farmers market) and the margery sachs lifetime service award (founder). Strengthened regional visibility and leadership in conservation.”
