IRS990/Desc0STATE CAMPAIGN PROGRAMS -CSI'S STATE CAMPAIGNS PROGRAM USES STRATEGIES, INCLUDING BRINGING TOGETHER COALITIONS OF ADVOCATES, EXPERTS, AND SPECIALISTS, TO PROMOTE AUTOMATED RECORD CLEARANCE ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. THE PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES TARGETED GUIDANCE AND RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE ADVANCEMENT OF CLEAN SLATE LEGISLATION IN STATES ACROSS THE COUNTRY. AFTER LAWS ARE PASSED, WE WORK CLOSELY WITH STATE AGENCIES TO ENSURE THE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF CLEAN SLATE POLICIES, MAKING CERTAIN THAT SYSTEMS FULFILL THE PROMISE OF AUTOMATIC RECORD SEALING. THIS HOLISTIC APPROACH HELPS UNLOCK OPPORTUNITIES FOR EMPLOYMENT, HOUSING, AND EDUCATION FOR MILLIONS OF AMERICANS SEEKING A SECOND CHANCE.
