“Do & be arts academy of excellence's mission is to cultivate creativity, become change-makers, achieve academic excellence, and broaden their perspectives through providing quality arts education for k-8th grade students in las vegas, nv. Do & be arts academy of excellence gives students a space to discover, understand, and use their voice. We do this by providing a transformative arts-integrated curriculum rooted in academics. This curriculum teaches history, self-discovery, cultural awareness, and behvior therapy. Students will gain a deeper knowledge of their importance and understand the role they play in their community and the world.”

“Our primary program is to achieve three essential goals. 1. Academic proficiency - students will show high levels of growth and achieve 85% of mastery on math, ela, writing, social studies, and science grade-level assessments. Students will show grade-level growth or beyond on the beginning, middle, and end of year nwea map assessments. 2. Performing arts excellence - students will show growth on their pre and post-theatre music, dance, visual arts, and film/media assessments completed each quarter. Students will score 85% or higher on their theatre, music, dance, visual arts, and film/media post-assessments. Students will perform in 1 or more shows during each school year. 3. Project-based learning - students will complete 2 project-based learnings during the school year. After each project-based learning, students will score 85% or higher on dbae's project-based learning rubric that assesses collaboration, innovation, critical thinking, problem- solving, and communication.”
