Annual members meeting: organized an annual meeting for members to discuss industry trends, share best practices, and network with peers. About 50 attendees. Key topics included: presenting the service award to honor an individual that significantly contributed to the local industry; recognizing associate member suppliers and vendors to foster a more open, competitive market; organizing a golf networking event to show appreciation to the production crews of the producer member companies; provide a dinner banquet to conduct association business and outline the planned marketing and educational association events for the upcoming year. This activity is to show recognition and appreciation to the members of the association and help them network within the industry. Monthly industry meetings: organized monthly meetings with industry representatives to discuss industry and market trends, and tailor education and marketing initiatives to further the association mission. This involved three to 11 members of the board and keeps the producer members engaged in the association's activities. Marketing events: conducted various marketing events such as 5 golf tournaments, 6 plant open houses, and sponsorships of other events to promote the benefits of industry products. These events provide touchpoints for the association to build awareness, connect with, and establish and strengthen relationships with the market. The golf and open house events touch about 1,000 market contacts. These contacts are more likely to reach out to the association to take advantage of our educational resources. Educational events: hosted educational events including 5 regional trainings/workshops, 5 conference presentations, a dozen lunch and learns, and many individual activities/ visits. These events carry out our mission to provide education for the market in building long-lasting, durable infrastructure. 1,500 participants look forward to our engaging presentations, enjoy sitting down with us over lunch, and/or sharing their insights with us and other participants on the industry and best practices. These activities help specifiers correctly incorporate industry products into their designs and projects, help installers work with and install industry products correctly, help inspectors confidently test and evaluate industry products, and help all others better understand the industry. Research: from time to time, conduct research in the industry to keep the producer members competitive with current technologies and to help the market understand new technologies related to the industry. No significant research has been conducted yet.
