To promote access to affordable housing and sustainable incomes for individuals living in the greater baltimore area, including through the development, renovation and refinancing of affordable and supportive housing projects.

To guard against conflicts of interest, the chair and president will review the relationships of board members with outside organizations carefully and ensure that the organization's mission to its clients and the community it serves is not harmed by any personal or contractual relationships. No presumption of guilt is created by the mere existence of a relationship with another organization. A signed statement from each officer will be maintained in the health care for the homeless central files.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization follows the provisions of accounting for uncertainty in income taxes under the income taxes topic of the codification. The codification requires the evaluation of tax positions, which include maintaining its tax-exempt status and the taxability of any unrelated business income, and does not allow recognition of tax positions which do not meet a "more likely-than-not" threshold of being sustained by the applicable tax authority. Management does not believe it has taken any tax positions that would not meet this threshold.
