“The organization is in its second year. During this startup phase, activities focused on organizational development, fundraising, and strategic planning. Time was spent meeting with people and groups that showed interest in starting an emergency facility in the area. The programs described below are still in the development stage, with implementation planned for the upcoming one or two fiscal years. Program 1: pet pulse after-hours er, medical facility: the organization is currently in the planning and fundraising stage for its program. This program is being developed to address a critical gap in accessible, affordable, after-hours emergency and urgent veterinary care for pets in the region. The organization is actively seeking donations, securing a facility, and recruiting veterinary staff with the goal of opening to the public in spring 2026. No program-related services were provided during this reporting period. Program 2: vet pulse professional services a primary program in development is our vet pulse professional services, which is to provide professional support and retention program. The organization is creating staffing models and job descriptions. No program- related services were provided during this reporting period. The organization is working to develop a multi-year program strategy and phased implementation roadmap. In early 2024 after planning and modeling with alpine veterinary network, the board made the decision to open its own emergency clinic. The model will offer relief to local clinics, peace of mind to pet owners, and a safety net for the community. The plan is to open the clinic in spring 2026. During the reporting period, the organization has conducted research on successful models and initiated fundraising.”
