| The organization made a purchase of 2 cold plunges. This cold plunge equipment was given to a fire department in order to provide a solution to relieving stress as a result of PTSD that firefighters succumb to on the job. This money was fundraised during on of the events the organization put together and benefitted 400 people. Cold plunge therapy is designed to reset the brains ability to revert back to a relaxed state of mind further improving anxiety and stress caused by trauma within a first responder's career. These cold plunges provided will further aid the 400 people involved with the department. | $3,777 | $3,777 |
| The amount listed was given to partially to 2 individuals that could not afford the mental treatment needed to address their PTSD. The second portion of this amount was used to provide education to 100 individuals on PTSD and what needs to be done to address their mental health. These individuals were spoken too in a classroom setting with a variety of keynote speakers that talked about counseling, stress management, and post traumatic stress disorder. | $3,532 | $3,532 |
| The activities are funded by general donations given from a variety of organizations and individuals. These organizations are small businesses throughout the community where the event is being held that want to support mental health awareness and financial assistance to first responders in need. The donations received can be a variety of monetary value. During the event, we sell raffle tickets and host raffles with donated items from other businesses. We also promote businesses that donate to the foundation by advertising their cause as a thank you for supporting the Arizona First Responders Foundation. The funds received from other businesses are dispersed based on the following formula. After deducting costs for the event, the net proceeds are used the following way. 50 percent of the money received is used to promote or organize the event that is bringing the community together. 37.5 percent of the money is kept within the organization to financially assist first responders that cannot afford counseling or other treatments that benefit their mental health. The remaining 12.5 percent of the funds raised are given back to the benefitting organization the event was for to purchase equipment needed or provide other financial assistance for their members that have a mental health need. The financial assistance we provide and the events we organize for Arizona first responder departments benefit the individuals requiring mental health and behavioral assistance. We are able to provide counseling, ketamine treatments, EMDR treatments, and pro active mental health awareness with the funds generated. We continue to host sporting events and activities that promote community and mental health awareness while also using the funds raised to financially assist first responders as stated above. At our biggest event last year, we hosted a pickleball tournament that resulted in over 100 attendees. The organization provided financial support in the amount below to an individual first responder who's wife passed away. The amount provided was earnings from an event that was specifically asked to support his wife's funeral expenses. This benefited 1 individual's family. | $2,000 | $2,000 |
