909 Market Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code Its primary exempt purpose is to support educate and empower micro and small businessesparticularly Latino-owned women-owned and underserved entrepreneursby providing access to education resources and financial assistance that promote economic stability and long-term sustainability

The Foundation exists to strengthen local economies by uplifting small minority-owned and family-owned businesses that often lack access to capital mentorship and formal business education Many of the entrepreneurs served operate as vendors at community markets night markets cultural festivals and pop-up events throughout Southern California Our charitable activities include Providing micro-grants to qualifying small business owners to assist with startup costs licensing fees equipment purchases and operational expenses Offering free or low-cost educational workshops on business formation licensing compliance bookkeeping marketing social media strategy and profit-and-loss management Connecting entrepreneurs with resources related to city permits county health requirements and legal compliance Creating safe family-friendly community spaces that allow small businesses to generate income and gain exposure These services reduce barriers to entry for a
