“Part I: Primary Purpose Mental Health On Purpose Inc. (MHONP) is committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues and providing accessible, high-quality mental health services to individuals and families. As a community-based provider, MHONP focuses on delivering counseling, advocacy, and education to enhance emotional well-being. Our mission aligns with the requirements of Section 501(c)(3), as we operate exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, striving to improve public mental health outcomes. Part III: Program Service Accomplishments 1. Counseling Services MHONP provided 350 individual counseling sessions to over 200 clients during the reporting period. Our services addressed a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our counseling programs aim to offer person-centered, trauma-informed care that helps clients achieve emotional balance, reduces symptoms of mental illness, and improves their overall quality of life. 2. Community Education and Mental Health Advocacy MHONP organized 10 workshops and community events, engaging more than 500 participants. These educational sessions aimed to increase awareness of mental health issues, offer coping strategies, and provide access to mental health resources. By educating the community, MHONP works to foster a more supportive environment that reduces the stigma associated with mental illness. 3. Professional Development for Mental Health Practitioners We conducted 3 professional development seminars attended by over 50 mental health professionals. These sessions focused on trauma-informed care, grief therapy, and conflict resolution. Our goal is to equip mental health practitioners with advanced clinical skills to provide high-quality care. Part IV: Significant Changes There were no significant changes in the organization's activities or governance during the reporting period. Part V: Public Charity Status Mental Health On Purpose Inc. qualifies as a public charity under Section 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). MHONP receives a substantial portion of its funding from public donations, service fees, and grants, ensuring that we meet the public support test. Part VI: Explanation of Donated Services During the reporting period, MHONP benefited from $2,000 in donated services, including pro bono legal consultation and volunteer counseling. These services allowed MHONP to extend its reach and provide additional support to the community without incurring financial costs. Part VII: Other Information MHONP did not engage in any political activities or lobbying during the reporting period. There were no grants issued or received during the year.”
