“Each affiliate association shall be represented by one director who shall have one vote. An affiiated association registering 450 participants shall be allowed a second director. An affiliated association registering 900 or more participants shall be allowed a third director. Each affiliate association shall name an alternate board member that may vote in place of a seated member of their association in the event of an absence excused by the State President or Secretary. Upon termination of an affiliate agreement, all representatives of that affiliate are terminated from the Board. Affiliate directors shall be elected by a vote of the teams of their association prior to the ASHA Annual Meeting to serve a term of one year that begins at teh ASHA Annual Meeting following their election. The seating of directors will be done at the Annual Meeting upon receipt of certified election results signed by an officer of the affiliate association.”

“Form 990, Part VI, Line 10b - Policies and Procedures Governing Chapters Affiliate membership in the Alaska State Hockey Association (ASHA) is available to any bona fide active amateur ice hockey association in the State of Alaska that is registered with USA Hockey and ASHA.”

“Board treasurer will review return and present it to the Board of Directors at the next board meeting before the return is filed.”

“At the annual board meeting members are requested to disclose verbally any conflicts that exist.”

“Documents are available upon request through an elected board officer.”

“Expenses related to Team Alaska training and coaching fees.”

“Expenses for referees, coaches clinics, tryout expenses, and Team Alaska tournament expenses.”
