Composition and duties of executive committee defined, including immediate past president duties. A process for removing board members was adopted. Board given authority to set dues, and board authority to waive dues defined. Clarifications made regarding board voting proedures.

Active members - active membership shall consist of pharmacy associations as represented by the principal person employed to manage and direct a state, territorial, or the district of columbia pharmacy association. A state pharmacy association shall be defined as an association which provides membership opportunities including the right to vote and hold office to all pharmacist and pharmacy members in that jurisdiction or state. Associate members - associate members shall be persons who have demonstrated an interest in and support of the activities of the alliance. Associate members shall not be entitled to vote. Honorary members - honorary members shall be persons of professional and scientific distinction who are recommended to the executive committee. Upon recommendation of the executive committee and upon receiving the vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the members present and voting at an annual meeting of the alliance, such persons may be elected honorary members. Honorary members shall not be entitled to vote.
