“The organization hosts a spring show at the spokane county fair and expo center in spokane, washington. The show is an akc conformation event. There is also an obedience & rally event, both of which run for three days. Dogs are working on american kennel club championships. There are typically over 1,200 entries (dogs). Twelve rings are utilized with two stewards in conformation rings, and four per ring for obedience and rally. Workers and judges are recruited for the events. Kids from 4h are utilized to serve as pooper scoopers and vendors are invited to be on-site during the shows. Trophies are awarded. In the fall, the organization sponsors "responsible dog ownership day" to educate and train people as best practices for handling their dogs. There is no charge for this event and everyone is invited.”
